I guess it was something they used to do sometime in the first 90 days of your service. They would have everyone come back and talk about issues that may have come up. But they no longer have them.

I talked to someone in the Missouri state office and asked about it and found out that the Missouri state office is unsure if there is going to be an early service training right now because of financial concerns and right now no meeting if planned, but if something changes they'll let us know

I was planning to call the MO state office about this topic on Monday. If I remember correctly, they don't have the large group training anymore, instead it's on a state level now and you can sign up for specific courses like grant writing. I hope they have some available! I'm working out of West Plains, MO, and they've never had a VISTA before, so everything is very basic here. The office is only open two days a week, although I have a key so can use it when I need, but I would really like some training to get started. Hey, Ali, are you based out of Springfield? I visited them yesterday and they didn't know you, but said you might be starting later or something.
